Firstly I occupied myself with painting on natural silk, on
manufacture, where they sewed the coverlets from the painted sharkskin.
From that moment I like big dimensions. Then I began to occupy myself
with the painting for the interior decoration, with the decoration of
houserooms and offices. I like to work for the concrete interior, for
concrete man, because the interior is the continuation of inner life of man.
I occupied myself with the interior decoration in "cold batic" technics nothing
less than fourteen years. When I entered to Textile Academy I thought about
practice of batic and painting to costume.
I've experimented a lot with this direction. I think, that my
first education helps me- I've acquired a profession of sculptress (a sculptress
of a small makes) in Abramtsev Paint-Industrial College.
It's necessary firstly to have the acquirements of sculptor in
painting of clothes to show off the nature woman's build.
The result of my affections is the basic research on theme
"The collection of the folksy woman's clothes", made on technics of "cold batic"
on motives of Russian ornamentand the beginning of the Russian Art Nouveau.
There were several ensembles, consist of two-three subjects , one or two of
which is painted. Then nobody knew about Klimt in our country ,except for
the narrow circle of art critics ,but I was going to meet Klimt , using
folksy motifs of ornament. My first meeting with Klemit became for me a
revelation and the theme for my works, for many years and for many collections.
The next collection 1994-1995 became for me a great and solemn
exam. This was the collection of evening gowns, made with famous Moscow
fashion designer Olga Burmina. It was a little one, consist of three ensembles.
They were combined not by theme of painting ( each dress carried isolated theme
of faint "Dutch still life", "Marine pearl" , "Rose-leafs") , but a solution of
fashion designer: silhouette, lines, existence of palantins.
The next adult , to my mind, collection made also conjointly with
O. Burmina "Recollection about Klimt". Overall, the work with such an experienced
fashion designer became for me the school of craftsmanship. This collection
became possible, because she and I, we both have one close sympathy with the
painting of Klimt, ornamental and imaginative order of his pictures. In the
collection there are five ensembles, the image of each one is taken from one
of the pictures. The degree of utilization of faint is different: from a hole
quotation in ensemble "Kiss" (this ensemble is made on picture of the same name)
and presentation of "Mermaid" ,which is close enough to faint, till barely
fragmentary presentation, close to faint with confessed authorial perusal and
remake in palantins of ensemble "Nenuphar" and palantine of ensemble "Udif".
The last of five ensembles is the ensemble "Sandy fancy", it barely distantly
reminds some of the motifs from "Mermaid".
The main particularity of imaginative perusal of this collection
is utilization of thin color chiffon one color and different nuances alike,
which make fond for painting; tender, streaming, womanlike, barely brow,
complement the motif, making it precious. These fairy and mysterious in its
simplicity and clarity of lines ensembles call forth the images of Art Nouveau,
but they use for this modern means of conciseness. Color presentation of painting
isn't always close to Klimt , but on the volition of fashion designer it is akin
in painting of Vrubel, especially you can see it in "Mermaid" and "Sandy fancy".
After this collection there were several ones yet. And now the
collection on motifs of Bysantine mosaic is in process of creation.
Along, I constantly do the work of custom-make.
Now a big collection with a new perusal of the painting and the
image alike. Its theme is "The universal of Painter". There will be presented
several enters in it, part of which is already painted and sewed.
1. "Atelier of painter".
2. "Studies and adumbrations".
3. "Poems".
4. "Butterflies".
5. "How do you do, master Gogen".
6. "Meeting with Japanese art".
This work is conjointly driven with young and gifted fashion designer from Kislovodsk - Olga Chernenko.
